The higher our metabolism, the more fat and weight our body can burn. So next time, try to avoid that heavy lunch and opt to have a healthy snack once every two to three hours.

Cut down on simple carbohydrates

Food that contains simple carbohydrates includes white bread, white rice and honey. If you are trying to lose weight fast, avoiding these foods is good because simple carbohydrates get broken down very easily in our body system. These broken down carbohydrates then get converted to sugar that give us energy. However, if we are not doing activities that require a lot of energy, like exercising, these sugars in our body get to turn into fats quite easily. Try to eat more complex carbohydrates, like wheat-based food if possible as these get to turn into sugar much slower than simple carbohydrates.
